Mentor of the month in 2025 in Global Schools Program and Advocate of the month in 2024 in Global Schools Program.

I am grateful to be selected again for mentor of the month. My main focus starts with peace education and talking about peace.

I am a Mentor at global schools program, and a Peace Representative IWPG, Karachi Peace committee

My journey started when I introduced peace art competition in school by IWPG,Global Region3

Then received Peace Lecture Training, Was selected as first Representative in my country for Peace as IWPG Global Region 3, Karachi Peace committee, I was given chance to give peace lecture and trained women for peace and then was honoured as Best Peace Lecturer Award as well. I have invited many females from different countries to promote peace education.

Recently,I designed an online session too where more than 25 educators I informed about importance of peace education in schools.

Moreover, I highlighted in my session the work of father of Peace ,Johan Galtung that Peace is just not absence of war it is present of Justice. He had introduced the concept of Negative peace and Positive peace. Unfortunately, he is not with us any more. However, his work lives and contributes positively in promoting peace education.

I see many women now taking and talking about peace education.

My emphasize is always to highlight factors of

Respect, Justice, Tolerance, Empathy....

Peace is also crucial and a goal to achieve sdg16 by UNO 2030. Peace and Justice but it branches leads to

sdg 3 well being

Sdg 4 Quality education

Sdg 5 Gender equality

Peace also makes you think and respect just not humans but all living things, whether nature, wild life animals, plants etc. Imagine how crucial peace education is needed now even.

and makes anyone a responsible citizen too.

Without inner peace, outer peace cannot be availed.

My work will keep on going, as being a human, educator and a women I feel it is very crucial to promote awareness and work on peace education.
