Pearl in Prejudice

I wish, people show little sensibility to discover the pearl under their prejudice about women, respect her as a human being, grant her the fundamental rights that is hers and recognize her beauty and the fact that she is priceless... This is my appeal to every sensible human being, to this society and to this world. One day my thoughts are reflected with a philosophical touch as follows...

Are you listening to me...
Shall I tell you something...
I was thinking about life in general,
knowledge in particular,
amidst virtues and vice
through strength and weakness
those pearls within layers of prejudice...
But all these impart wisdom.

I was talking about life...
Life is like a Pandora's box...Is not it???
You never know what is in store...
At times, smiles flow out of the box
and often tears keep dripping through it...
But still life is beautiful... Is not it???
May be because its unpredictable!!! I am not sure...

I was talking about pearls,
which we all wish and crave for...
But
many a times that priceless pearl is hidden
underneath a shell of prejudice;
a fatty sheath of predisposition.

But never mind
It does not infect the pearl.
Its still a gem...
lustrous as ever...
eternally alluring...
forever captivating...
Because its
the pearl of wisdom and knowledge
Gem of values and principles
crème de la crème of ideals
the virtue of righteousness
and its ever lasting

No prejudice can wash it away
No predisposition can bleach it off
Just embrace it with patience...
Entwine it with the resoluteness of love and trust...
its the ultimate pearl...
which you searched forever...
Close your eyes and be in peace...
And that was my story of pearl in prejudice...
