I am proud today to be world pulse ambassador. i am so grateful for WP platforms it has changed my world view and build my capacity. i have made friends, i have sisters who have encouraged me to take bold steps even when i felt it was not possible. i have wiped my tears and squared my shoulders and moved forward after reading touching and stories of bold women.
As we celebrate international women's day ( IWD) on 8th of March 2020, as a WP ambassador and my team of YOUNG AFRICA WOMEN INITIATIVES, ( YAWI), we shall be planting trees in our county. We know that climate change affects women negatively and perpetuates violence against women. this day we shall be sensitizing women in planting trees online and offline line. about 100 women will be wearing T shirt with a world pulse logo, they learn how to use twitter handle and share about this event online tagging # WP as they register to become members.
we look forward to this great day.
