For as long as I can remember, I have been writing.

Stories, plays, Poems, songs, essays, letters, thoughts you name it I have written it.....

Over the years I went from wanting to become a comedian to a rapper to now fully realizing my potential as a spoken word artist.

I've always been drawn to the performing arts and in the spirit of preserving my authentic voice, Dub poetry just came naturally maybe because I could blend my creative writing skills with my dynamic personality into one tangible element.

Thus Marley Fyah was born ! Marley because I resonate so much with the great Bob Marley and because it's very close to my given name.

All my poems are actually pieces of me, literally borne from the depths of my subconsciousness. I hear the words in my mind then I write them down as raw data downloaded from the acasic relm then I arrange them into hooks and verses.

Always following the rhythm and cadence it originally flowed to me in, preserving my inner voice. Its a marvel to me how the words I hear in my head can get such a rousing response from my audience!

The spirit of the universe speaks through me and I listen and share its unique perspective with anyone that will listen!

It is within this never ending circle of creativity that I have drawn the inspiration to create this beautiful body of work that I will lovingly share with the world in due time.

This is 20 years in the making, Echos in the Hush promises to be a truly provocitive listen. Poems about everything that's happening now written 20 plus years ago is simply amazing!
