Power of Love

They were up high on a tall silver monument
Three little babies and one sitting still
She caught my eyes sitting expressionless
Her stillness engulfed my yearning

It was wonderment to see the babies
The one sitting still seems lonesome
Was she ignored and rejected?
Was she the angel who spread the love?

I was amazed to see the babies so high above
Two coming down with boy power
I stood motionless below the silver monument
Gazing at the babies with curiosity

I was feeling a need to reach her
While the boys came down with resolve
Slowly, I started climbing up
The babies does not seems to mind

I climbed the tall silver monument and paused
I reached for her and hugged her tight
I looked down at the boys hurrying down
“Be careful, go slow and steady” I whispered

I felt my heart glow with pleasure
As we felt connected, safe and together
We had each other to love and care
In the silent of the night there was love
