Pure Path sensitisation at a secondary school
My country is faced with Increased number of drop outs, yahoo boys cashing out, teenage pregnancy, abortion I daily think of ways I could address these problems.
Teenage girls are just too vulnerable, peer pressure and the quest to meet up with social standards. I couldn't sit and watch. Valentine approaches and just like that, several girls are impregnated, some would abort while others are forced to become mothers.
Pure Path was birthed, January 2024.

Lush Foundation team members would write letters to schools. We look for volunteers to join in reaching out to secondary school students.
We accept which ever platform the school gives us, we want to pass this message across to avoid more girls ending up pregnant because they didn't give their action much thought.
Throughout, the Valentine week, we plan activities
like talks, games, gifts for participants and the school.
January 2025, we were excited to reach more students, funding seem to be a challenge.
This project was not about it is a vision from God.
We wanted to plan the project but we didn't have money to print letters or take the letters to schools.
We finally got some money to printed the letters from fund provided by the team.
It was time to send out letters, we didn't have money to do. Transport fare was on the rise at that time. I got some personal money and I gave the team to help drop the letters at each school.
I remember one of my team members trekked a long distance because the money wasn't sufficient to visit schools allotted to him.
My husband ask for how we were going to get money to for transport and other logistics to Schools. We planned to reach 13 schools
1 school in Lagos state, 12 in Ekiti State.
We wrote support letter, with our budget for the project.
We got the exact amount written in the budget. I was so excited.
My team members and I visited 13 schools.
Each school affirmed the need to continuously educate students.
Several students had questions, a girls asked me what she could do if she wanted to have a male bestie but her mother disapproved.
Several questions about career, building relationship with the opposite sex, finances and lots more.
