I was invited to the consultation meeting for UN Women WCARO’s Strategic Note 2026–2029 and my time there only hammered home the reality: women's access to finance is still a colossal barrier worldwide...across sectors, countries and income levels.
I’ve always known it was an issue, but the trend we reviewed was honestly quite sobering.
This is why we need to start thinking differently and build our own alternative financing systems that WORK.
