Sally Maforchi Mboumien for Embodying World Pulse Spirit in All She Does
Jun 10, 2021
story
Sally has been with World Pulse since 2016. She has for years spoken out against violence against women and also women being set up to fight each other, knowing full well from childhood the violence inherent in a system in which men can have many wives, offering nothing to them or the children. I wondered where she found the strength and determination to create peace in her country. She is in one of the countries in which people are at war with each other. It is because of Sally’s reporting to World Pulse and her dedication as an Advanced Change Maker, a Storyteller, an Ambassador, that we are kept up to date on this war in Cameroon that has been going on for years, and so that we can be aware of and try to make known her work, in which she has taken lead in forming a peace group of women from both sides, #NWSW, meeting across the divide to create peace. Sally believes in the seemingly impossible being not only possible but necessary. She is an inspiration of courage, determination and hope. She makes change happen. She is a leader whose work should be the framework of the UN.
#PeaceNegotiation, #TalksNotBlood, #CeasefireNow #EndAnglophoneCrisis #Peace, #Talks, calls for ceasefire
She embodies the Spirit of World Pulse, bringing the news that is not covered, creating change in all ways necessary. She is a courageous and powerful change maker.
