story

Five years ago, I lost a female friend who died in the process of child birth .She successfully put to birth through surgery and later died ten minutes later .When I heard of this ,I was really touched and disturbed, I had sleepless nights because she was very dear to me .I mourn her death and I felt very bad especially when I thought of her children .After some time , I decided to support her husband in taking care of the children left behind .Her husband spent money buying baby food like artificial milk to feed the kids and these food were very expensive but what was more disturbing was that the food these children were eating were not good enough as I could see it in them .They were not strong and they looked pale . When I saw this, I decided to look for a different and better way to help my late friend’s children which I considered mine.
I asked myself so many questions on what I could do to help that will be a lasting solution. I had a homemade Soya Beans milk which I produced in my house for my personal usage, so I gave their father to prepare it for them every two weeks. As time went by , I discovered that these children where growing more healthier than before and after a period of six months I saw that those kids where stronger and healthier thus they were very strong and smart .I was very happy and satisfied with the outcome of my hands . I saw how my friends’ children grew up and attain the primary level of education.
After some times, I became more concerned with the wellbeing of children around and the family at large .I took note of any malnourished child in my quarter and I supported the families with my milk .I visited a hospital in my neighborhood and as visited the children’s’ ward tears filled my eyes .I saw children who were suffering from malnourishment, they were pale and it pains a lot to a child in that stage.
When I got home, I decided to use my gift to save lives .I produced my soya beans milk in a small scale and sold them in markets, hospitals and in homes personally. Thus my soya beans milk is sold in my community and the impacts and reactions have been tremendously great. For now, my soya beans milk have reached over 3000 children and other shops and persons are selling it. The demand for my soya beans milk is increasing daily and am greatly in need of equipment’s to produce it in a large scale for my community, country and the world. I believe that if this is produced in a large scale it will greatly help not only to reduce infant mortality rate, it will create jobs to youths and the unemployed in the community.
