Self Care

What Self-Care Means to Me

To me, self-care means taking intentional time to care for my physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. It is about recognizing that I also need rest, encouragement, and kindness so that I can continue serving others with strength and joy. Self-care is not selfish—it is necessary.

Right now, I take care of myself by praying, reading the Bible, getting enough rest when I can, spending time with my family, and eating healthy meals. I also try to take short breaks from work when I feel overwhelmed and remind myself that I do not have to carry every burden alone.

Going forward, I hope to be more consistent in caring for myself. I want to exercise regularly, spend more time outdoors, read books for personal growth, and create a better balance between work and rest. I also want to make more time for activities that bring me peace and happiness, so I can continue growing into the person God has called me to be.

I believe that when I care for myself well, I am better able to care for others and make a positive impact in my family, my community, and the world.
