Sensitization and distribution of Reusable pads to Adolescent girls

We identified 19 adolescent girls in Ndzevru village, between the ages 10 to 15 years

- We improved their knowledge on menstruation through education talks and demonstration on how to use and wash reusable pad.

- We also informed them on the various menstrual products needed to ensure proper menstrual hygiene management.

- Each of the girls received 4 reusable pads to help her stay comfortable during her monthly flow.

CEFLife continue to improve the lives of adolescent girls and young women by advocating and promoting women's rights especial sexual and Reproductive health rights and the rights to safe and proper menstrual hygiene management.

This is to ensure that, the myths and beliefs surrounding menstruation are gradually reduced.

Further, these young girls will feel comfortable during their periods, and will no longer miss out in their daily activities for fear of leak, shaming and stigma.
