Shaming women for how they eat is no different from shaming them for what they’re wearing

This is going to be an extremely unpopular opinion, but I need to get this off my chest.
I hear way too many people complain how they hate people chewing with their mouths open, and when they’re explaining in detail about it, it’s usually women who do it in their case.
It really makes me wonder how miserable their lives must be when they’re struck with a reality check that women need to eat to live. They tend to have a strange habit of watching our jaws go up and down every time we put something in our mouths. They get the ick so much upon realizing we’re human beings and not the objects they claim us to be.
I’ve heard of grammar police and fashion police, but the etiquette police is perhaps the worst of them all, and I’m shocked this hasn’t been talked about, at least nowhere near as much as the previous two. As if what I put in my mouth and how I chew my food really offends them so much like it’s the worst thing in the world.
I cannot believe there are so many people who STILL think like this and it’s fucking 2025! Hello, this isn’t the nineteenth/early twentieth century anymore!
They have the audacity to go out to eat only for them to bitch and complain about a woman sitting next to them eating like her usual self. What’s even more infuriating is that they have to make themselves the main character, EVERY FUCKING TIME, like “ooh look at me, I have to sit next to an ugly fatass bitch who has no manners, boo-hoo, I’m the victim, woe is me”!
It’s like whenever I dare to put something in my mouth and eat to my comfort, some little pansy-assed motherfucker will start wailing like a siren going “eww, chew with your mouth closed! Nobody wants to see the food inside your mouth, that’s nasty!”. And I’m like “BITCH!”.
Here’s some of the comments I heard lately from the etiquette police:
”How do you like having both food and air going in your mouth at the same time?”
Gee, I don’t know. Maybe it’s because some of us have shitty nose problems and have no choice but to breathe through our mouths. What do you want me to do, suffocate?!
”Do you not know how loud your chewing and lip-smacking is to everybody else?”
Are you not even aware of how loud YOUR lips are smacking when you’re spewing out utter bullshit? Also, get earbuds. Problem solved.
”There was a woman I worked with who won’t stop chewing with her mouth open and was so disgusting about it. I told her to chew with her mouth closed and instead of saying oops my bad, she got mad over it lmao!”
Isn’t it ironic how you’re the one sticking your nose into her business and yet SHE’S the only one who gets mad according to you? Consider yourself lucky. If it were me you were talking to, you’d never see the light of day again.
”How is the food not falling out of your mouth with you stuffing your face and talking so much?”
Considering that logic of yours, sometimes I wonder if your head is even screwed on right.
”Is that all you do, think about yourself? Do you not even care about others’ feelings?”
Touché, dear sir! My stomach doesn’t care about your fragile ego. It just wants to be fed.
”Why can’t you just chew with your mouth closed? People don’t want to see that nasty shit in your mouth!”
Why can’t YOU just learn when to keep your mouth shut and look away? Because nothing ruins anyone’s day more than an obnoxious Karen controlling their life!
Now the moment you’ve all been waiting for. Shaming someone based on how they eat is no different from shaming them for what they wear. Horny guys will complain about how a girl is dressing “like a slut” so apparently they can’t resist in fucking her. That’s the same logic with etiquette policing. It’s like whenever you dare express any comfort with how you eat, sleep, etc., there’s always gonna be some obnoxious prick complaining how it offends them so much with the excuse saying it’s nasty.
”eww, chew with your mouth closed! I don’t wanna see that nasty stuff!”
Then fucking look away, bitch! That’s all you have to do! If your only motive is to whine and complain about how other people EAT, that’s a you problem! Now if you excuse me, I’m going to stuff my face.
