This taught occurred to me on Friday last as I preped at 4.30 am to join a Facebook live blog
My sister Lisa had invited me to share my story on her platform, that included mostly women from the Caribbean region, women from all walks of life, a bright bubbly all girls group, where we are referred to as Diamonds
Just like my World Pulse platform we can be ourselves, our differences are appreciated, we can come together to celebrate, to confess, to find strength, to share ideas, to cheer each other on.
Why is sharing your story so important was the question in my mind, and the answer came back, because your story is created not for you but to empower someone else your story is the answer to their question, their searching, their encouragement, their finding purpose.
I'll say it again your story is not for you, so I shared my story and the response was amazing, it accomplished its intent.
So go ahead share your story, because it may be exactly what I need to be the wind in my sails, the fuel to my fire.
Share your story.
