"She Knows. She Waits. She Wins."

You know that moment when you catch someone lying, but instead of calling them out, you just sit back and let them dig their own grave? Yeah, welcome to a wifes life.

He thinks i don’t know. Oh, but i do. I know everything his little white lies, his half-baked excuses, the way he suddenly becomes a poet when trying to explain why he was “busy.” But here is the thing: I am not exposing him. Nope. I am letting him believe that I believe him. Why? Because sometimes, the best way to teach someone a lesson is to give them enough time to realize they are the problem.

And trust me, it’s hard like “trying to fold a fitted sheet” hard. But I smile through it all, because, well, this was my decision. I chose to give him a chance when the whole world was looking at me like, “Girl, are you serious?” They thought he did not deserve it. Maybe they were right. But this is my battle, and I am fighting it alone with perfectly winged eyeliner and an unbothered attitude, of course.

See, the thing about a woman’s intuition? It’s like a Wi-Fi signal strong very very strong, undetectable, and always picking up on things he thinks I don’t see. So, dear husbands and boyfriends, take notes: Never underestimate a woman who chooses to stay silent. She’s not clueless she’s calculating.
