She Rises

This poem is for you. For every woman who has been hurt, silenced, overlooked, and still found the courage to wake up and try again. I see you, I love you, and I will keep fighting for you. Your pain matters, your story matters, and your life matters.

She rises softly,

from silence that tried to swallow her,

from rooms where her voice was a whisper,

from nights where tears were her only comfort,

from dreams they said were “too much” for a girl like her.

She rises from broken promises,

from hands that failed to hold her,

from love that bruised instead of healed,

from storms she never invited but somehow survived.

She wears her scars like quiet poetry,

not marks of shame, but proof of courage.

Each one says, “You lived. You fought. You are still here.”

They tried to make her smaller.

To dim her light.

To silence her fire.

To teach her to shrink.

But she learned that her softness is her superpower

and her strength is her birthright.

She is tired, yes.

But she is still standing.

She is hurting, yes.

But she is still hoping.

She has fallen, yes.

But every time, she chose to rise.

She is a daughter, a sister, a mother, a dreamer,

a gentle heart with a warrior’s soul.

She carries the weight of the world in her chest

and still finds room to love, to care, to give.

To the woman who feels invisible: you are seen.

To the woman who feels unworthy: you are enough.

To the woman who feels trapped: this is not your ending.

To the woman who is tired of being strong: rest, beautiful… but don’t give up.

Your voice matters.

Your story matters.

Your life matters.

And even when you feel small,

even when fear visits,

even when loneliness knocks—

remember…

You are not weak.

You are becoming.

You are rising.

You are unstoppable

So if today feels heavy, if the world feels unfair, if your strength feels tired remember this: This is not the end of her story. It is only the beginning of her becoming. you have survived everything that tried to break you. You are still standing. You are still breathing. You are still becoming. And that alone is powerful. Keep going, beautiful. Your rise is not over.
