She Shows Up for Everyone. But Who Shows Up for Her?"

Tired but still showing up because someone has to.
I don’t know how to say this in any fancy way, but I’ll just speak from the heart.
Women are superheroes — especially the ones who live their lives for others. We fight so hard to make things better. We want to fix every problem. We want to raise every child right. We want to change our world, and we’re doing it.
But in the middle of all that, I can’t help but ask — who looks out for us?
Who sees you when you're pushing hard to reach your goals, when you’re sacrificing sleep, food, and even your health — all because you care too much to stop? Who notices when you’re drained but still showing up for everyone else?
I remember when I had just recovered from an illness — to be honest, my body wasn’t ready to go back to work, but I did anyway. I forgot my medications. I didn’t eat for days because I lost my appetite. I could barely stand for long. But still, I showed up. Because it was for the children. For the teenagers. For the mission.
I didn’t have everything in place. The funds weren’t enough. Most tasks hadn’t been delegated. But I told myself, “I can’t cancel. People are counting on me.” This wasn’t even the main event yet — just the preparation stage. The real programme was in two days.
Yet there I was, not sleeping. Still pushing myself. Still working. Still carrying it all.
It’s not because I’m a machine or because I don’t feel tired. It’s because I care. And sometimes, caring too much means forgetting yourself.
So let me just say this to every woman like me — the ones who show up, no matter what:
You are seen. You are appreciated. And you deserve rest too.
It’s okay to pause. It’s okay to ask for help. You don’t have to burn out just to prove your passion. Even superheroes need someone to hold them up sometimes.
And if no one has said it to you yet — I’m saying it now: Thank you. You matter too.
