SINGLE MOTHERHOOD 😢

MOTHERHOOD AWARENESS 🤰🤱

COMMEMORATING MOTHER'S MONTH🌹

Ms Boitumelo Mankhwa Israel Speaks on SINGLE MOTHERHOOD AND BALANCING MOTHERHOOD AND WORK.

Part 1

"Hello, instead of 1 topic I opted for 2 being SINGLE MOTHERHOOD and BALANCING MOTHERHOOD AND WORK .

I am not going to share soppy stories or try to scare someone. I am going to be brief and share this in a way that at the end of the day it motivates and brings some sort of comfort to someone. You know, Motherhood is a journey that stretches you in ways you never imagined. As a single mother of two boys, that stretch feels deeper and more demanding but also filled with moments of unexpected joy and pride. So here it goes:

SINGLE MOTHERHOOD

Single motherhood isn’t just about raising children alone; it’s about becoming a whole support system in one body. It means being the sole provider, the comforter, the disciplinarian, and the cheerleader all at once. There are days I feel stretched thin (juggling emotional, financial, and practical responsibilities) but what keeps me going is the unconditional love for my children. From the moment my first son was born, I knew my life would never be the same. And when I had my second, my sense of purpose deepened even more. There’s no manual for this. Some days, I’ve felt overwhelmed by the weight of responsibilities, but in the quiet moments, when I watch my sons laugh, learn, and grow, I realize that this path, though difficult, is one of the most fulfilling I could ever walk.Ā

Support systems aren’t always easy to find, but I’ve learned to draw strength from within, and I lean on the people who genuinely care such as friends, mentors, and other women walking the same path. I've also made peace with the fact that I won’t get everything right all the time, and that’s okay. I no longer beat myself up for not being perfect, I’ve come to understand that being present and trying my best is more than enough. Being a single mother has taught me resilience, decision-making, and the power of leading by example. I want my children to grow up knowing that love, stability, and joy can thrive even in a single-parent household." To be continued.....!!!!

We love you Queen, keep on holding on. God got you... You are doing an amazing work. Do remember yourself in this draining journey of motherhood. Remember yourself, you matter. We love you so much. ā¤ļø
