SPARE A THOUGHT...

The season to be jolly

As we welcome the holidays, let us take a moment to reflect on the less fortunate in our society and the true meaning of this season of cheer. For the single mother or father striving to provide for their children, the parentless child who longs for connection, the elderly who may feel isolated, the incarcerated seeking hope and redemption, the sick, yearning for comfort, and those mourning their loved ones – this season can be bittersweet.

Let us extend our compassion and generosity to those who need it most. This is a time to share not just gifts, but kindness and understanding. Together, we can create moments of joy and connection that remind everyone of the warmth and love that the holidays represent.

And to those who will be working in essential and critical services, may they find joy and peace in their service to humankind.

Happy holidays!
