Speech Delay. Autism. A Mother’s Silent Battle.

Unique and beautiful

They say every child blooms in their own time…

But what they didn’t tell me is how long the silence would last.

No "Mama", no words — just eyes that speak volumes,

while the world around me doesn’t understand.

They call it autism.

I call it my son — beautifully different.

Yes, the burden is heavy:

💔 The stares

💔 The questions

💔 The guilt

💔 The endless wondering: “Will he ever speak?”

But I carry it.

With love louder than silence.

With hope that refuses to die.

With strength only a mother can explain.

If you see me tired, don’t pity — support.

If you see him different, see him worthy.

Because behind the silence is a story still unfolding…

And one day, he will speak.

I have searched books, blogs, doctors, diets.

I have held hope like a candle in the wind—

flickering, fading, but never out.

Because I am his mother.

And silence may be loud,

but my love is louder.

All I need is the assurance that I am not alone, there is hope. I need to network and connect with people in similar situations.
