Pakistan ranks 145 out of 146 countries in the Global Gender Gap Report 2022, just above Afghanistan. A deeply patriarchal society, regressive social norms, and gender stereotypes continue to fuel discrimination and violence against women and girls. But numbers don’t tell the full story—real lives are at stake.

This issue is more than just statistics, it is the silent suffering of countless women, bound by outdated norms that deny them their right to education, freedom, and dignity.

Change begins with one conversation, one mindset shift, and one courageous step. I have seen firsthand how a single intervention can create a ripple effect—when I stood up for my friend Mehr, her family changed their beliefs, and that small shift inspired many others to question their own limitations.

But we need to do more. This is why I am collaborating with Muniba Munir and welcoming others who share this vision. Together, we are building an initiative to:

✔ Educate and empower through Instagram and Facebook, using impactful posts, real-life stories, and short videos.

✔ Challenge harmful norms by starting open conversations about women’s rights and gender equality.

✔ Engage communities through interactive discussions, expert insights, and survivor voices.

✔ Mobilize action by equipping people with the knowledge and confidence to stand against gender-based violence.

This is not just a campaign it is a movement. Every story shared, every voice raised, and every mind changed brings us closer to a future where no woman suffers in silence.
