Taking a new step toward my dreams.

Sometimes, taking one small step is enough to begin something new.

I had an early start in modeling and also worked in TV commercials when I was younger. But my journey in this field did not continue for very long.

I got married at a young age, and soon my life became focused on family, household responsibilities, and motherhood. Like many women in our society, I had to give more time and attention to my family, and gradually I moved away from modeling and media.

Years passed, and modeling became a part of my past.

But recently, I started thinking about myself and the things I still wanted to explore. I realized that I could give myself another opportunity to learn and try something I had once enjoyed.

So, I decided to start again.

At present, I am taking training in modeling from an institution to improve my skills, presentation, confidence, and overall personality. I know that starting again after many years is different from starting when I was young, but I am enjoying this new experience.

Recently, I also participated in the first selection round audition of Face of Bangladesh, part of the High1 Resort 2026 Asia Model Festival.

I participated only in the first audition round. On that day, 10 participants were selected for the final round. I was not among them.

For me, the experience was valuable because I stepped into a professional modeling environment again after a long break. I met other participants, experienced an audition, presented myself, and challenged my own hesitation.

Most importantly, it helped me become more confident.

I realized that I do not need to wait for a perfect opportunity or a particular age to start something new. I can learn, participate, and improve step by step.

This experience has also encouraged me to think more seriously about personal branding. I want to use social media to present myself professionally and build my identity as a personal brand. I want to share my modeling journey, learning experiences, creative work, and other activities that reflect who I am today.

For me, personal branding is not only about photographs or appearance. It is also about showing our skills, personality, interests, and the things we are working toward.

I am still learning how to build this journey, and I know there is a lot more to learn.

But I am happy that I have started.

I am also sharing this experience because I believe many women put their own interests and dreams aside after marriage and family responsibilities. Sometimes they may feel that it is too late to start something again.

My experience has taught me that starting later is still starting.

We may have different responsibilities, different challenges, and different timelines, but we can still make space for ourselves.

I am not trying to go back and become the person I was years ago. I am trying to build a new version of myself with the experience and confidence I have gained through life.

My participation in Face of Bangladesh was just one small step, but it gave me the motivation to continue.

I want to keep learning, take more training, explore modeling and brand opportunities, improve my social media presence, and see where this new journey takes me.

Most importantly, I hope my journey encourages other women to give themselves a chance too.

It is never too late to learn something new, try something different, and take a step toward yourself again.

I have started again—and I am looking forward to what comes next.

Why I Am Sharing This Story--

I am sharing this story because I know there are many women like me.

Women who once had dreams but had to put them aside because of marriage, motherhood, family responsibilities, or social expectations.

Women who sometimes look at their age and think, “Maybe it is too late for me.”

I want to tell them that it is not too late.

We may not be able to change the years that have already passed. But we can decide what we want to do with the years ahead.

I am not trying to become the person I could have been years ago.

I am trying to become the woman I want to be now.

My journey back to modeling may have started with one audition, but for me, it is much bigger than modeling.

*It is about finding myself again.

*It is about confidence.

*It is about giving myself permission to dream after years of putting others first.

And it is about showing my children and other women around me that a woman can have responsibilities and still have dreams of her own.

I believe every woman deserves the chance to rediscover herself.

And if my journey can encourage even one woman to pick up an old dream, try something new, or simply believe in herself again, then sharing my story is worth it.

*I am starting again.

*I am learning again.

*I am believing in myself again.

And this time, I am not waiting for the “perfect time.”

I am creating my own time to shine.
