stood... on the forefront of the dream and fight

I was a little girl, with braids tied with colorful silk ribbons. Every Tuesday, I would take the middle school stage during morning assembly to recite poems in classical Arabic, which were difficult for middle school students to read. They were suitable for university students. I would recite them in a dignified language and clear letters, which would be appreciated by listeners and teachers alike. Then I grew up and began writing rhyming poetry about natural scenes and topics such as friendship, pride, and others. This progressed to writing lyrical poetry in Sudanese colloquial Arabic. Then I entered journalism so I could publish my poems. My dream at the time was to publish my first poetry collection. I believed in the saying, "The earth expands according to your dreams." "Stand at the corner of your dreams and fight." I tried many times to publish my first collection, but my attempts failed. My last attempt convinced me that the time for publication had not yet come. I wrote the poems on my computer, then transferred them to a flash drive and took them to my refuge after war ravaged my beloved homeland. And here the window of luck opens

And the sky answers the prayers of the needy

Here I am publishing my first poetry collection, entitled "The Sweetest Passion"

Under the sponsorship of one of the prestigious publishing houses

Here is the newborn dream coming true

And here I am, watching the rhymes of my poetry arranged with the stars

And the flashes of my luck lined up crowned with songs and flowers

Praise be to God for His great grace and blessings

stood... on the forefront of the dream and fight
