Summoned courage

Before I joined world pulse, I was this quiet and calm girl who will feel very hurt but easily led it go. I had a vision of giving back to the girls and women in my community as per my experience growing up. Whenever I shared the vision with the people close to me, I always get very negative responses.Since I graduated, I have had several jobs but never satisfied with any irrespective of the pay package. But when I join world pulse , I have the courage to pursue what I believe in no !matter what others think. I have been able to organize menstraul hygiene campaigns , reach out to internally displaced girls and organized empowerment training sessions for internally displaced women in my community. I am very satisfied with what am doing now and intern to do more. I am producing reusable sanitary pads for rural and vulnerable women and girls.

It is very challenging for me because of lack of resources. I have just a sewing machine and have to pay for the finishing parts which is quite expensive for me. I need sisters to support me in my project so I will be able to reach out to more and more women.
