Sweet passion

Yesterday, I launched my first poetry collection in a joyful atmosphere, attended by Sudanese and Egyptian poetry pioneers, intellectuals, and editors-in-chief, as well as a number of Mauritanians and others. Several poems were presented, praised by critics, who considered poetry a unique feature in light of the current war in Sudan. The panelists touched on the importance of poetic documentation of this phase of the country's history. The ceremony included several poems and songs that were well-received by the audience.
