Taking the Voices of Women and Girs to the World Bank/IMF Civil Society Policy Forum

I’m deeply honored to be representing Girls Education Mission International (GEM) at the ACESWorld Side Event during the World Bank Group/IMF Civil Society Policy Forum in Washington, D.C., on October 15th!

This event, themed “From Data to Impact: How Frontline Organizations Are Using Community-Generated Data to Strengthen Advocacy, Influence Policy, and Access Resources,” brings together global changemakers working to transform community data into meaningful action.

I’ll be sharing how GEM is using data collected from local communities to inform programs, influence policy, and drive funding advocacy aimed at ending gender-based violence and empowering women and girls.

This opportunity reflects our ongoing commitment as a UN Women Generation Equality Action Coalition member to create a world where every girl and woman is safe, valued, and free to reach her fullest potential.
