Tech found me!

Bestie posted a story about me #she did it!#  and how the past ten years of my life had gone from getting married at 17 to getting separated at 27 after a series of ups and downs in matrimony.    Yes! Tech found me. About 4 months ago, I called Bestie up and have a scold on how cold she had gone on me and I heard less and less of her everyday. Of course I was a shadow of myself always yearning for attention which Bestie selflessly provided to the best of her ability. I was actually so mad that she checked on me less these days but guess what...? Bestie had found Tech  and her love for this new trend more or less took my place. “That your Tech thing is now your new best friend huh?\" I’d always tease. Well, she explained to me how she started this programming course and how interesting and fully engaging it was so much that she barely had time for herself. She said all the glorious things that would become of her once she’s done with this course and before I knew it, I was on the site myself looking up how to apply and become a part of this remote school.   

At first, I was looking for something that would keep my mind busy and get it off everything I normally would be worrying about. Then again, it dawned on me that this could actually be my future and he’ll yes!! I feel that way right now. Tech found me and Tech is my future. I immediately signed up for Microverse and with all the tutorials Bestie gave me, I went on to start the pre-work course( meant for level-0s and people who know little about programming like myself). 

Today, I am liking what I do, embracing the challenges and putting in maximum efforts to forge ahead one day at a time. It is going to be a long road to walk, but I will get to the destination. Yes! I leant a few graphic designing techniques which I am going to be using to make a living while I go through the course and get my life back on track.  Tech is my future.
