We kick-started our Encourager Parties for 2025 with the fantastic Lemona Chanda and Mosfeka Zannat - two formidable women who make change happen on ground with their hard work and dedication. We began with an overview of the Encourager Program on World Pulse and had a beautiful conversation with our two speakers. Lemona and Mosfeka told us about their work on the ground as grassroots activist working to support more women around them and across the world. They also talked through their journeys on World Pulse, reflecting on what it means to receive encouragement and how they strive to build community by showing up for each other. We then had a live encourager party where members got to send love and encouragement out into cyberspace through World Pulse. We then went into breakout rooms for joyful conversations and engagement around the stories we'd all read.
