The hatred for Kim Kardashian just shows how misogynistic and racist people really are

I’m pretty sure almost every one of you have heard of Kim Kardashian, right? And her reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”, might have heard of that too, right? My point is, Kim Kardashian is famous. And when you’re famous, you’re going to get a shit ton of backlash from people who think you don’t deserve it, especially if you’re a woman of color.

You know exactly what I’m talking about. Here are some examples of comments referring to her:

”I mean, she doesn't have any talent. Let's be honest here.

If you're talking about the joke being an old one, sure; I agree.

I see this argument all the time but let's face it, most of her success is derived from the fact she had a sex tape, a reality show and people find her attractive, none of which are talents. If she had been some nobody who started a clothing line, nobody would give a shit. Most of her success is due to her pre-existing fame that needed no talent to begin with.”

So apparently Kim has no talent because she just made money off of her sex tape so therefore she deserves nothing but hatred and vitriol. And this is not just Kim Kardashian, her sisters get this treatment as well. What makes things worse is that not only do people speak this way to female celebrities, they’ll do the same to regular women as well for simply just playing around on TikTok and then call her a degenerate.

It utterly appalls me knowing that if a woman dares to show herself in any way, she will forever be a “degenerate”, and since sex work apparently has no talent (unless if it’s a man), she will be labeled as a whore who is just getting the easy way and is “attention-seeking”.

The sad truth is that women will get criticized in everything they do (and don’t do). “Oh so she sticks out her tongue like Miley Cyrus, she must be a degenerate whore!”, “her movements suck, she is so awkward, why did they even hire her?”, and best of all, when the women who call out such comments “there she goes again, playing victim for all the shitty choices she makes and can’t handle criticism, if she was a nicer person, I’d feel sorry for her”.

But if a man does any of the same shit a woman does, he’d be called a stud or a king or a master of talent. Women are degenerates for speaking out, women are degenerates for making independent choices, women are degenerates for doing whatever they please, women are degenerates for simply just… existing.

It truly makes us wonder regarding the attitudes of bigots, who really are the TRUE degenerates?
