The Joy of Humanitarian Work
Aug 7, 2020
story

There have always been the need in our communities for people to dedicate themselves in working for and helping Vulnerable persons. The need became even more with the onset of the Anglophone crisis in 2016. Then Corona pandemic has even made the situation worst. But I have tried to bring out something good in this situation which is my source of motivation.
Doing humanitarian work makes me happy.
The feeling of giving hope to some body out there who was almost giving hope on help is so fulfilling.
It has thought me how to share until you feel the pain of sharing but feeling the pain joyfully.
It has thought me to be so so selfless.
It has thought me to be very appreciative of what I have and opportunities given me.
It has thought me to be creative.
It has given me the opportunity to network with so many amazing people especially my beloved World pulse sisters
I can go on and on.
We don't need to go miles to do this. Just look around in your neighborhood. There are lots and lots of people who need one form of care or another.
Sometimes we don't need to write a project for funders to fund before we can render help. Just a minute spent with someone listening to him\\her talking can change a lot in ones life. Or better still sacrificing money for your launch box can safe a child from hunger
I plead with us all to sacrifice some time and resources to help others who are not as privilege as us. So many people can not afford basic covid 19 prevention kits others who are dying of starvation around you . That is why I am continuing with my dream of providing covid 19 prevention kits to some Vulnerable persons and food stuff when am able to.
Please join me in doing that. I can tell you that you would not regret you did that.
Instead you will find so much joy in doing humanitarian work.
Thanks so much
