The National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking Holds its Regular Meeting


The regular meeting of the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking was held yesterday, under the patronage of the Minister of Justice, Dr. Abdullah Dafa, and attended by committee members, in the Ministry of Justice Hall at the Ministries Complex.


The Minister of Justice, Dr. Abdullah Dafa, praised the efforts of the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances the country is experiencing. He emphasized the importance of reflecting the state's efforts to combat human trafficking and illegal migration, both internally and externally. He also emphasized the need to urgently form subcommittees in the states and coordinate with relevant authorities to combat this crime.


For her part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Chair of the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking, Mawlana Howaida Ali Awad Al-Karim, presented a report on the progress of the committee's work and its efforts to combat human trafficking, especially in the wake of the war waged by the rebel Rapid Support Forces. She added that an emergency plan had been put in place to address the repercussions of the war.
