This is my sister's story, I'm sharing it with her permission with the hopes it helps or saved another woman.

Grew up with a very beautiful young lady, her beauty so extra. With her flawless light skinned, people in the are used to call her "Indian girl", her hair dark and long though not silky as that of Asians. She was so beautiful until that beautiful was taken away from her love.

My sister unfortunately was not lucky when it comes to marriage. I visited her house one faithful day and met blue/black chic bones, eyes puffy from too much crying. I asked what was wrong and realized her husband had turned her into punching bag. I was a consistent thing and she had lost about three pregnancies from the daily dose of beating.

I rushed to my father and told him everything, my dad summoned she and her husband, out of fear my sister couldn't speak up, she followed him back to his house and it continued. Three years later she had her son, but the violence and abuse didn't stop. He chased her and the son out of the house when their son was 6 and my sister came back to our family house and she went about her life trying to raise her son alone as a single mom.

Fastword to 10years later, we got talking and I realized she never got over it, all the going about her life was to not show a sign of weakness, but her heart was broken into thousand pieces, the pain caugh
