The Path of Life

Who can show the right thing

When you lost your path?

Who is willing to help

And show you the truth?

When your legs shake

Who will give strength;

Is there anyone who stands

By your side and make an oath?

Who can be a light

When darkness surrounds;

When life makes you cry

Who can wipe your tears?

Who will bring sunshine

In the foggy days;

That changes your sorrow

Into happiness?

Is there anyone

When you’re lonely;

Who gives his time

To keep you company?

When you are broke

Is there someone else;

To fulfill your need

That tossed some coins?

When you’re thirsty

In a dry land

When you look for water

Digging out of the sand;

Is there someone

Who stretches to hold;

To wet your dry lips

And lend you a hand?

When you’re hungry

And cry for piece of bread

Just in the darkness

Your voice was swallowed;

Nobody wanted to give

Or share his belongings

For a poor person like you

Who has got problems.

When your health was not good

And you stayed in your bed

You suffered all alone

Friends went and hide;

If you are all alone

Where are your relatives?

If they don’t make a change

Why do you make friends?

There’s an unseen hand

That held you very tight

Who uplifts you always

And help you stand straight;

He’s been always guide you

And keeps you safe

On the path of life

When it’s too rough.
