the story of my life

My life journey was not meant to be writing journals until i got a message from my community group about Voices of Our Future. When i went through the material for the training then i thought may be i should start writing, in the end will be selected for the program or will be able to write about issues means win-win situation so i took the challenge. I have been doing activities at various levels but never did something related to share through writing and it was because I never used to write stuff. I always avoided writing until it’s highly needed. This practice left me with no confidence in writing field. Then I started to write material for myself, friends and professionals regarding admission essays, creative writings etc. they appreciated me back and suggested me to start writing and as I saw this platform I grabbed this opportunity to share, Learn & influence lives, particularly to have a sole group of women struggling to bring a change through writing their own stories and ready to be the strength for each other in the battle field of social change. This is the platform which inspired me of the feminism and I started to pay attention to the issues related to women and being a female of such a society and country which has an unstable government, weak security system, potential target of super powers etc. where women are affected by these conflicts directly and indirectly but no one is taking notice of that at higher level of authorities. And if there are women at higher authorities than they are not competent enough or are not taking initiatives regarding women empowerment in Pakistan which is all done by NGOs or International Organizations. So we need to empower women to a certain level so that they should be capable and strong enough to bring a change rather than ending up in controversies.
