Encouragement
Rana’s story began like many others: a young girl dreaming of a future full of possibilities. But her journey was cut short when she married early, a decision she made under pressure from her family. Her husband seemed perfect at first, but soon he began to isolate her, questioning her every move and restricting her from socializing or working. He controlled the household finances and monitored her every action. Rana tried to speak out, but her cries for help were ignored. It wasn’t until a community outreach program on women’s health and rights visited her town that Rana learned about domestic abuse and the resources available to women. With the program's help, she managed to escape her controlling marriage and rebuild her life. Rana now works as an advocate for women's mental and physical health, reminding other women that the most dangerous wounds are often the ones that can’t be seen.
