They are not attacking Emma Watson, or UN Women either, they are attacking the women's agenda!

"If men don’t have to be aggressive in order to be accepted
women won’t feel compelled to be submissive.
If men don’t have to control,
women won’t have to be controlled.
Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive.
Both men and women should feel free to be strong
It is time that we all perceive gender on a spectrum,
not as two opposing sets of ideals."
True as the day you were born and sweet as a song, was Emma Watson's speech above in support of the HeForShe campaign, a project run by UN Women in support of women's equality around the globe. Watson, in her role as a Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women, denounced the negative impact that rigid gender roles have on both men and women.
Brave enough to name it, Watson spoke personally about how she came around to feminism, citing, among many examples, how "at 14, I started being sexualized by certain elements of the media." Its brave enough to openly affiliate oneself with the F-word in a world where feminism is misunderstood and unwanted, and its heroic to admit that the Master's House has really sexualised you. Patriarchy is the Master's House and the media is one of the rooms that make up this master's oppressive house. But what are the consequences for openly breaking the rules of the Master's house? Punishment: ostracisation, emotional blackmail, media attacks - nude photos on the media or even death.
Watson has not been spared, and continues to be victimized by the intrusive and objectifying media attention. According to Business Insider reports, users on 4chan, which has been one of the major conduit sites for the stolen celebrity nude photos, have created a website called "Emma You Are Next," featuring a clock purporting to be counting down to a leak of naked photos of Watson, and the reason is to punish Watson for her outspoken feminism. Some of the messages featured on the cite were, "That feminist bitch Emma is going to show the world she is as much of a whore as any woman," and "She makes stupid feminist speeches at UN, and now her nudes will be online, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH." In addition to the clock the website features a photo of Watson wiping away tears. Whether these messages were a hoax or real is not of much substance, and neither is the fact of featuring someone naked. As Amanda Marcotte rightly says, "It's about getting those tears, the pleasure of hurting and humiliating a woman who offended you by being unobtainable, and by standing up for other women." Emma Watson is not the only one. A few months ago I featured an article in which Pokelo, a local celebrity was also attacked and called all sorts of degrading names as a punishment for daring stand up for who she is. Such attacks are subtle but very effective means of silencing women, and unless women stand up for their rights, the Master's House is here to stay.
