Thriving As A Founder With Your Startup!

The world thinks of founders , most especially successful founders as having some kind of "superman confidence, tenacity, drive, astute or even winning all of the time", Yes they may be right in their judgement, but know also that quite a lot of them were uncertain at first about starting a company or even growing it to the advantage of  a global community. 

What they were not certain about was making something extremely perfect or trying to fix something broken. Most times accidentally, perseverance is important because in a startup, nothing goes according to plan.

 Founders live daily with a sense of uncertainty, isolation and sometimes lack of progression. This three setbacks often feud from even people very close to them.  Plus startups, by their nature tend to do new/modern things - and when you do new things people will often reject you. Always know that. Do you know why? I am sure you can figure that out.

Very often, founders get rejected early by investors, journalists, established companies and even some of their partners.

People think the idea of innovation is in the abstract, but when presented  a specific innovation, they tend to reject it even unknowingly because it does not fit what they know or should know. Founders need to be adaptable because it takes certain level of mental flexibility, persistency and good intuition to understand what others need or want because the deal plan will probably change. Starting a Startup is a process of trial and error but what guides us as "founders" is that we found true empathy for our users. We never lost the sight or drive of making things that people need to thrive upon.

Lastly, I put it to you that your motivation and your ability to dig deep and keep going even when everyone tells you to stop or when people cease to believe, is one of the critical things that separates you from those who litter the pages of startup history.
