Once again am Fanka Maurine Sumnyuy,  am from Bamenda in the North West Region of Cameroon. I am founder and CEO of an organization called Community Education For Life- CEFLife.  We advocate and promote for the respect of  rights of women/girls and children to equitable quality education in Cameroon especially those who faced discrimination and marginalization.  In order to ensure that women/girls stay safe in school and access quality education we carry out the following activities;

  1. Capacity building through career orientation, couching/ counseling, personal development.
  2. Promote sexual and Reproductive health rights of Adolescent girls/young women
  3. Promote sustainable menstrual hygiene management through sensitization, training on the production of innovative reusable pads , distribution of reusable pads and dignity kits
  4. Economic empowerment of AGYW through training on income generating activities and livelihood skills
  5. Advocate and promote gender equality and fight against Gender based violence.
  6. Lobby and provide scholarship support to vulnerable AGYW and children.

We have been working since 2013, creating impact in our own little way and with our own efforts to cause a positive change.

We are here to join our voice with the voices of other powerful and amazing women to speak out and promote a society free of gender inequality and GBV.
