Training on how do we prevent harassment young student girls.



We conducted this training in mid-June,2021 which took place Mogadishu in the capital city of Somalia the first session benefited, 500 female students between the aged of 13 up to 30 - young girls. we saw an increase in violence against women, we recorded more than 200 cases last year and during this year.



 



6-day training was aimed at telling young girls tips on how to protect themselves.



1-How we prevent rape of young girls?



2-  Attention when young girls leave from their houses?



3- how they can continue their education and complete?



4-how can we prevent rape?



5-how parents and daughters can keep each other informed when they leave Education or out?



 



The pretty girl student completed her secondary school this year aged 20, is normally chat with her boyfriend linked to one month she was very busy her school another site was selling tea in bakara market to help her family her boyfriend was called and she left and missed around 6 hrs. after missed sahra was found dead under floor and raped.



we find that most of the rapes are committed between 6 pm and 7 pm where most of girls are sent out errand. we advise them never to go out without adult companion during these times, and most of rapes are using to give the girls drugs to get girl drunk.



The second part of this training will be held on 2 Saturday Oct-2021.
