Truly Global Book Club

Greetings!

With curiosity, I gave a look to our member list. I wondered, "How many countries do we represent?"

SIXTEEN- yes, Sixteen countries spreading about our world and I am sure more, more to come.

Armenia, Bangladesh, Canada, Egypt, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Peru, Sudan, the UAE, the UK, the US, and Zambia!

A powerful voice, pulse, and discussion is ripe. What a thrill to listen and interact with women from 16 countries around our globe. I have just traveled in my minds eye starting in So. America- Peru, north to Mexico- hop to Jamaica, then back to North American mainland- US, Canada....over to Europe- Armenia and the Uk....to Asia- Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, India and finishing in Africa- Egypt, Kenya, Sudan, and Zambia. This is a new, vital, thriving book club with discussions rising throughout the world.

Let's talk! about Benazir Bhutto, Rita Marley, and hopefully Nigeria's Biafarian Civil War with the Orange Prize Winner, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I look forward to hearing the many, varied, strong, and forceful voices that we represent.

Best,
Laura
