. "From pain to purpose—turning loss into action. The Tumasang Judith Lum Cancer Memorial Initiative is here to make a difference!"

The Tumasang Judith Lum Cancer Memorial Advocacy and Support Initiative is a dedicated effort within PaWED-IATC to honor Judith’s legacy by raising cancer awareness, advocating for improved SRHRs in cancer prevention and treatment, and providing support for patients, survivors, and caregivers. The initiative focuses on education, advocacy, and community support, addressing the barriers to early detection, treatment, and care in Cameroon. Through outreach programs, policy engagement, and survivor-centered interventions, it aims to improve access to cancer care, reduce stigma, and empower affected individuals and families. Judith was my beautiful, smart, eloquent, adorable and dynamic junior sister; and co-founder of Pathways for Women's Empowerment and Development/Integrated Agricultural Training Center (PaWED-IATC) who lost her battle with breast cancer 🎀 on August 1, 2024 barely two years after she was diagnosed and despite her embodied determination and conviction to fight this monster disease.

We also share free oral chemotherapy drugs bought by Judith herself during her last checkup in India in July 2024. We also provide counselling, psychological support and trauma healing to patients and families.
