Video Update: Empowering Bangladesh’s Youth: Free ICT Training for 80 Underprivileged S

Creating Digital Futures: Sombhabona ICT Free Training Initiative

Hello World Pulse sisters and allies,

I’m Mushfika Zannat Nishat, a social entrepreneur and passionate development researcher from Bangladesh. As co-founder of Sombhabona, I’ve spent the past 14 years working to uplift marginalized communities through education, skill development, and social business.

Today, I am thrilled to share an exciting update from our initiative: Sombhabona ICT.

We have recently launched a free ICT training program for 80 underprivileged students who have just completed their SSC exams. These bright young minds come from disadvantaged backgrounds, but with the right training, mentorship, and opportunities — they can become changemakers in their families and communities.

Our goal? To build a digitally skilled and self-reliant generation, ready to thrive in the global workforce. So far, we have already trained 500 students, and by the end of this year, we hope to reach 1,000 youth.

At Sombhabona, we believe in a future where poverty, unemployment, and hunger are relics of the past. This training is not just about computers — it’s about hope, dignity, and empowerment.

If you are passionate about youth empowerment, digital inclusion, or education, I’d love to connect. Let’s stand together and amplify solutions that work.

In sisterhood and solidarity,

Mosfeka zannat
