Volunteer Selection Criteria

1- Passion for fighting and be trained for GBV prevention Grassroots Development

2- Strong Communication Skills (Local & Global Engagement)

3- Experience in Community Mobilization, Event Planning, or Advocacy

4- Digital Literacy (Social Media, Documentation, Outreach Tools)

5- Commitment to Minimum 3–6 Months of Volunteerism

6- Fluency in English or Local Language with Translational Capacity

7- Youth (18–35), Women,Township/ Rural Community Members Encouraged to Apply


What Volunteers Will Gain


🔹 1. Global Exposure & Networking

• Collaborate with activists, entrepreneurs, diplomats, and grassroots leaders across 150+ countries.

• Participate in high-level conferences, campaigns, and policy discussions.


🔹 2. Leadership Development

• Lead campaigns like 16 Days of Activism

• Manage teams, organize events, and shape advocacy tools.

• Gain real-time experience in movement-building and global coordination.


🔹 3. Skill Enhancement

• Build and enhance skills in:

• Community engagement

• Digital outreach

• Gender-based advocacy

• Fundraising and donor communication

• Event planning and reporting

• Receive letters of recommendation, certificates, and performance endorsements.


🔹 4. Recognition & Visibility

• Be featured in global campaign reports, social media, newsletters, and publications.

• Eligible for Volunteer Awards, leadership badges in different media .

• Contribute to case studies, storytelling series, and global media outreach.


🔹 5. Personal Fulfillment

• Serve local communities while impacting global change.

• Work on causes that align with gender justice, economic freedom, and peace.

• Leave a legacy through storytelling, impact documentation, and mentorship of new volunteers.
