Greetings members of the India Cafe. A number of us want to start discussion between ourselves, about India and life for her women, girls and men. This desire was prompted by the gang rape and death of the 23 year old student in Delhi. We want to understand why rape is not a punishable crime, holding the perpetrators accountable. Incidentally, I have a copy of the December 28, 2012 blog post from "Men for Gender Justice, Bangalore" written by Nivedita Menon.
