I m never speechless but the latest local headlines just knocked the wind out of me, my heart bleeds, no words and even if there were, it would be probably be an exact replica of my previous post. We all shed tears pt2.
Another woman loses her life, her hopes, her dreams at the hands of her husband, not some stranger, the father of her children, someone she loved. Someone she was now trying to get away from. Another flower has lost her opportunity to bloom.
As an oil rich nation its very sad and unthinkable that with all that has been put in place, DV numbers continue to rise
But can money, or services, seminars be the answer, when from what we saw in a video made by the victim prior to her demise, there seemed to be agreement from family members with the offender of his abusive behaviour.
In this latest incident, the victim was asked to leave the marital home and was planning too but didn't live to walk out the front door.
It strengthens my resolve to see my vision come to reality, a safe eco system, where, serenity, peace and purpose can be found to begin again.
