We came a long way, but--

We have a dream that one day all the poor Nigerians will be given the opportunities and provisions that they deserve and treated equal. We have a dream that one day in the small village called Ikpe Ikot Nkon in Akwa Ibom state, the sons and daughters of the poor families will be able to drink pure water, produce pure water, sell it and make profit, and have happy life. We have a dream that one day even the far reaching Niger-Delta, a region sweltering with the heat of gas flare, pollution, violence, unemployment, corruption and fraud will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice…

After the general assembly and survey questions in August, almost all board members of our non-profit organization, SWACIN Inc., has agree that fund-raising in the U.S. should start immediately under the leadership of Mrs. Liysa Swart, a new chair person of the U.S. chapter. Let us congratulate her and give her warm wishes for willingness to research autonomously, and enthusiasm to do the very important work of humanity for the poor Nigerians, and her tenacious effort while facing flood, loss of her be-loved brother, and overload of works. Let us remember that human rights has never been easy in the history of humankind, but it sure is given under someone’s strenuous effort against all odds like that of Mark Luther King… Let us remember that.
