2. Momma Africa, Pan-African, freedom fighter, and women’s advocate.
3. I do not actually know the name of the third person, though I know it is the leader of a women’s group in my immediate community.
News Angle
-Using the Journalistic Heuristic from Chapter One, ask yourself, what's my angle? In my interview, I would like to empower other women to take action and accomplish something in their community in an area that they want to see change.
-What am I trying to show about her? I will being trying to highlight in the story the power of innovation and courage to encourage female readers of the article.
-What issue is she addressing? Issues of social change and advocacy.
-What solutions has she brought to her community to address those issues? As I examine this issues then I think that either Adio or the women’s group leader from my area would be the best interviewees when considering solutions brought to communities, because both are actively involved in their communities seeking to address immediate needs presently and in the future.
-Narrow your list to two-three women to interview. I have accomplished by answering the above question.
I invite any comments and suggestions. I wanted to focus on community based women, to inspire local women to become more active in the lives of other women.
