Hello to all my World Pulse sisters and brothers!

Welcome to a new website designed to enable more voices, more collaboration, and more powerful movements on the issues that are important to you.

We are excited to hear what you will think of our new site, because your voice brought us to where we are today: a movement of women and allies from 190 countries who are speaking out and connecting in our safe, supportive online space and making change together. You have been a huge part of building this community which is unique in the world, and we hope you'll participate with the new site, grow your leadership and make powerful connectionsl. Your VOICE will power World Pulse into a powerful force of millions of women's voices that the world cannot ignore!

You'll notice some changes that we've made based on surveys and listening to you over the past few years. Here are some of them:

- Faster for low-bandwidth connections

- Mobile friendly

- New features for your journals to make your voice stand out, presentation for video and photos.

- Private/public setting for your journal, and also groups.

- French language version

- New spaces, hub pages and groups where you can connect with each other around issues and share knowledge and resources. We are starting with two issues our community has voiced most interested in: Economic Empowerment, Leadership, and rolling out other topics in the coming year.

Most importantly - there will be more opportunities for you be a leader with World Pulse, to be a welcomer, a listener so everyone feels heard, or to lead movements on issues or topic important to you.

Also World Pulse will be offering more training how to get your voice into the world, build movements. We'll also do more spotlighting and channeling of your voices on key issues and topics to forums to help make them louder.

We'll be adapting the site throughout the year so please let us know what more you would like to see. Think of it as if we are launching a new world center, and this is the housewarming party. We invite you to come in as part of the family and help arrange the furniture so we can welcome more people in. Later in the year, we'll be inviting a lot more people to come in - have a bigger party ! So we need your help now!

First Steps

- One of the first things to do when you log on is update your profile, spruce it up, make sure everything transferred ok

- Check your tags! Notice that you can now add country tags!

Many more exciting features and capabilities are coming, this is just the beginning!
