What Am I?

What Am I?

You are human and we are insects.

You are innocents and we are malicious.

You are patriotic and we are disloyal.

You are sane and we are groundless.

You are brave and we are spineless.

You are secular and we are brute.

You are free and we are imprisoned in your cage.

You kill us but we should be silent.

You suffocate us yet we are your integral part.

You stole our identity with utter deceit and yet you are a democracy.

You starved us to death for 82 days yet you claim Kashmir is calm.

You are inhuman but you call us rebels.

You vomit venom yet you consider us alive.

You ridicule our imprisonment and want us to embrace you.

You celebrate our slavery and you want us to appreciate.

In the guise of secularism, you are the immoral colonizers.

O’ the world tell me,  who am I?
