<p>Our Encourager Party in April was a magical event - we got to hear from the amazing Edna Chepkurui and Khanyisile, two of our recent Featured Changemakers. Edna talked about her 16-year-long journey on World Pulse and her bond with Olutosin, as well as the work she has been doing on ground, while Khanyisile talked about her journey into encouragement as a life philosophy starting with her work in 2017, with her initiative, Akari Connect. Both of them shared what it means to receive and give encouragement, and how profoundly moving it is to see the impact of your work on others. We also had some time to do some live encouraging, and spent a couple of minutes in each other's company within breakout rooms.
