What does it mean to be a "Modern Woman"?

There are so many interesting posts I have read about woman in various countries that it has me thinking of what it means to be a modern woman. I find it particularly interesting since I am at a point in my life where I am searching for my cultures traditions and applying my 'feminist' viewpoints to them as I go.
For me, I would love to be able to live a more free life where the main thing is not to get ahead and amass wealth but to live in harmony with Nature. Where it is perfectly ok to live simply off the land and do my own things that are more 'modern' then my traditions.
So, for me, I would love to go back to Attu to live. It is an isolated island with conditions that make it unappealing for many. I am mostly vegetarian so would not eat the normal sort of diet. But that is what is great about being 'modern' in that I could get some sort of greenhouse structure strong enough to endure the climate where I could grow my own food. I can imagine having a sort of market days for villages a boat ride (across wild water) away who would like fresh veggies too.
For my writing, as long as I have paper and ink I can do that anywhere. I often wonder if it would help since I imagine my imagination will be more active in a place where there is no blockbuster Movies a short drive away.
I think I would also be able to work on my computer game ideas more too since I often get distracted by things to do in town that would not be there. I have ideas written up for a lot of the game plot and dialogue so putting it all together will be great.
Internet would be a must as well since I think I would always want to be in contact with the amazing woman on here no matter where I am or what I am doing. Plus the girls would not move somewhere with no internet (and might see my dream life as more a nightmare, who knows?!).
But I think that is partly what being a Modern woman means, where we can not only dream but also actually live our dreams. I wondered what other woman were thinking and feeling about it. I can imagine those who like big cities think my ideas of a perfect life are as strange to them as trying to picture living in a big city for me! That today, more then ever, we have choices and freedom or working toward that freedom of choice together.
